Publications
Part of my regular duties, in all the positions I've held since college, has
been to create documentation for various projects and systems. Because of
this, I've become quite adept at writing technically-oriented papers for a
broad range of audiences. It also helps that I had a very strong foundation
in writing coming out of high school, mostly due to the fact that my mother
was (and still is) a college English professor.
I've had two articles published in SysAdmin magazine, the second co-authered
with a coworker at the time, Dana Lee.
SysAdmin, Vol 8 No 2 pp 55-58 Network Monitoring
SysAdmin, Vol 8 No 7 pp 35-39 SAs and DBAs - Interactions Across Traditional Lines of Responsibility
I've also written multiple user and administrator guides, available on my
documentation page. I've also co-authored the
Realm Kit for
Red Hat Linux User's Guide.
